I found this article interesting. It is about an Islamic publishing house that is publishing a “forged” version of the Bible. The article didn’t seem complete, so maybe I should read a bit more about this… but as I think about the over zealous monk or army of monks that could’ve pulled this off. I giggle a little.
Here’s another article, maybe a bit of research about where the Bible came from is somewhat worth out time. What do you think?
Again let me remind you… just because I show you a clip or quote someone doesn’t mean that I agree with everything else they say or teach, but I thought this message was full of truth and it is well presented. Enjoy…
YOU TUBE HAS THIS SERMON IN 5 PARTS, THEY ARE IN ORDER BELOW:
You don’t want to miss this quick two week series… have you ever wondered where the Bible came from and why Christians treat it like a Holy thing? We are going to cram what we could spend 1000’s of hours discussing into (2) one hour conversations. These conversations will take place at ap2t on 8.22.2010 & 8.29.2010. We aren’t having these conversations quickly because they aren’t important, but instead because they can be so interesting and as a result so consuming that we could spend all of our time researching Biblical history instead of loving and living loved.
Do you believe the Bible is the Word of God?
Do you believe the Bible is inspired by God?
Do you believe the Bible is inerrant, meaning without a single error?
Do you believe there is a single more important belief when it comes to Christianity than the inerrancy of scripture?
Would you like for your church to be considered or thought of as a Bible church?
These are questions we will ask and discuss over the next two Sundays at ap2t. I think we will have a blast sharing together. It is my prayer that God will speak through each of us as we hang out together.
